Day 1: Brandon
Drive to Brandon and check in to your charming in-town inn; dinner out on own (choices include an elegant French restaurant or a couple of other informal places); explore town. Note: en route to Brandon, travel first to the Chipman Inn in Ripton, where you will stay the last night, to drop off your car so that it will be waiting for you at the end of your adventure. We will then give you a ride to Brandon for the start of your inn to inn tour. Please plan to arrive at the Chipman Inn by 4:00 p.m. at the latest. Dinner on your own. Overnight: Brandon Inn, Brandon, Vermont.
Day 2: Goshen

Possibility of snowshoeing past historic Silver Lake (picnic here) and on to Blueberry Hill Inn. Car and bags shuttled up to Blueberry Hill Inn. Dinner and overnight at Blueberry Hill Inn, Goshen, Vermont. Note on dinner: guests typically share convivial tables and have the fun of getting to know each other. If you prefer your own table that is possible.
Day 3: Ripton
After a brief visit to the Middlebury College Breadloaf campus high in the hills of the Green Mountains, we'll snowshoe on the Robert Frost Interpretive Trail and past the Robert Frost Cabin on hidden trails to the cozy and friendly Chipman Inn located in the hamlet of Ripton. Dinner and overnight: Chipman Inn, Ripton, Vermont.
Day 4: Departure
After a hot country breakfast you can visit the authentic and no frills Ripton Country Store across the street or the charming college town of Middlebury. Today is also the perfect day to sample other activities such as fat tire bicycling in the snow, a cross country skiing lesson, or dog sledding. We would be happy to set you up with these wintry adventures and we will provide information in your Trip Planner.
